Visit to No 11 Downing Street

Kevin Houstoun at No 10 Downing Street, has the world gone mad.

As part of the UK Government Foresight Project looking at the future of computer based trading I got to attend a meeting at No 11 Downing Street. I was a member of the Lead Expert Group for the UK Government Foresight Report into the Future of Computer Based Trading. You can find our more about this report, which was published in Oct 2012, at http://www.bis.gov.uk/foresight/our-work/projects/published-projects/computer-trading

As I was there I was unable to resist the opportunity to take some pictures on the steps of No 11 and it's more famous neighbour No 10 Downing Street.

One mystery a couple of people have asked me about, why does No 11 not have a door matt? The answer is that No 10 and No 11 have been knocked through into one larger building and everyone come in through the door of No 10 Downing Street.
